Artist Statement

Visions of fine art have been flowing through my soul since I was a young boy. It is a wonderful gift to be born with and to this day I remain in humble awe of the creative process. I always try to project an inner beauty in my work that will not only capture people on a spiritual level but also give them a positive experience. However, I like to add a sense of wonder and mystery so the viewer still has questions to ponder. I don’t want people to simply walk by one of my paintings or sculptures but stop and spend time with it as you would an old friend and enjoy the moment. As different people have influenced my life so does it show in my work. Sometimes I feel that the proper expression should be shown in a painting while others become sculptures. It is never a conscious choice but rather an inner feeling about what is to be expressed and shown to the world.

I take great responsibility in my work and have the utmost respect for all artists that have gone before me. History shows us that no matter what the world has gone through, fine art has played a part every step of the way and I feel an obligation to continue that tradition.

My goal is “To bring a contribution of beauty to humanity through my personal artistic expression”.
